Less than ten hours after the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor, the Japanese invasion of the Philippines began. It catalyzed the formation of the U.S. Army’s First Filipino Battalion to fight for their motherland. Top-Secret missions penetrated enemy lines for over 2 years before the return of the Allies.
